ikel Arteta says Arsenal believe a “really promising position” in plot to ensure they “nail” the summer transfer window.
The Gunners are determined to invest in their squad over the fracture after losing out to Manchester City in the title race.
Arsenal could spend as much as £200million on modern recruits, with West Ham captain Declan Rice their No1 target.
The club are also looking at bringing in another midfielder, a centre-back and possibly a modern forward too.
And Arteta said: “We believe to nail everything that we finish and we believe to seek excellence in everything that we touch and participate in, to believe a gigantic impact at the club.
“I mediate the competition is going to be even harder than this season. In my opinion, it’s been the hardest of the 22 years that I’ve been in this league.
“In order to finish that, we believe a really promising position. We may believe to reflect a puny bit, seize a step back, construct sure this is the accurate one and depart again with more determination and hunger in the tummies to finish even better.”
Arsenal made a quick start to this season and Arteta believes the fact they got their business done early helped.
“That certainly contributed to the team getting the accurate foundation, building the accurate chemistry and reaching the accurate level of comfort and security with the modern players to give them a puny bit of time to adapt to a modern life in a modern country and a modern team,” said Arteta.
“That happened in a natural way. We had some remarkable players, but also some really apt characters who grew into the team so quickly.
“We generated from the beginning while we want it and results succor, which is crucial. Then we started to believe apt momentum.”
