Arteta confirms Arsenal have transfer plan to ‘nail’ summer window

ikel Arteta says Arsenal believe a “really promising position” in plot to ensure they “nail” the summer transfer window.

The Gunners are determined to invest in their squad over the fracture after losing out to Manchester City in the title race.

Arsenal could spend as much as £200million on modern recruits, with West Ham captain Declan Rice their No1 target.

The club are also looking at bringing in another midfielder, a centre-back and possibly a modern forward too.

And Arteta said: “We believe to nail everything that we finish and we believe to seek excellence in everything that we touch and participate in, to believe a gigantic impact at the club.

“I mediate the competition is going to be even harder than this season. In my opinion, it’s been the hardest of the 22 years that I’ve been in this league.

Arsenal made a quick start to this season and Arteta believes the fact they got their business done early helped.
