This year, Chelsea-based Birley Bakery has created a trio of artisan eggs.
There’s a golden egg that’s made using 80 per cent shadowy chocolate with candy-coated almonds on the inside and edible gold leaf on the outer shell (£100), a milk chocolate egg with a cutout Easter Bunny (£60), and the Sunny Bunny, which is a smaller 60 per cent shadowy chocolate option egg alongside a chocolate bunny figure (£40) – and all of them sit atop one of the bakery’s signature chocolate bars.

worthy Scotland Yard Hotel Easter Eggs
For an entirely unique Easter Egg, it’s worthy Scotland Yard Hotel in Embankment that should be on your list.
With a selection of hand decorated designs, no egg will be exactly the same – but they all retail at £35 and are crafted using 55 per cent shadowy chocolate from Valrhona. Even better, there’s an unknown surprise in each one, whether it’s mini eggs or fudge.
The only catch – you need to buy them in person from the lobby or The Parlour of the hotel.
