Anya Hindmarch x ASDA Universal Bag

Anya Hindmarch x ASDA

It’s the greatest thing to happen to supermarkets since Dale Winton. Luxury accessories and home designer Anya Hindmarch has teamed up with ASDA and Co-op to release what it’s calling the next generation of reusable bag: hail, the Universal Bag.

Available in each grocer’s colours and costing a tenner a piece, the ASDA bag is available in 300 branches while Co-op’s comes in blue and will be available from the end of March. The Universal will blow your current collection of motley totes out of the water.

The designer said: “It really does its job – you can fill it, drop it in a puddle or even carry logs in it and it won’t rip or tear. I really hope it becomes indispensable for those that have one.”

Featuring a smiley face made with Hindmarch’s iconic eyes these bags are already going for triple the price on eBay. If they’re anything like the label’s collab with Waitrose, they’ll sell out instantly. If you want one, you’d better be quick!
